Our advanced dredging methods and innovative technology, ensures safer operation to efficiently remove sediment with minimal environmental disturbance.

We provide end-to-end dredging solutions, from initial assessment to project completion, ensuring effective waterway restoration with minimal environmental impact.

APEX Envirocare’s dredging solutions are built on a foundation of effective, sustainable solutions and compliance, ensuring waterways are properly maintained and safeguarded for future operations. These services are vital for removing sediment buildup, minimising blockages, and maintaining water storage capacity.

We operate three dredge types, matched to the site rather than the other way round. Cutter suction dredges handle compacted or consolidated sediment. Auger dredges suit soft, fine sediment where a clean cut and low turbidity matter — they pass solids only up to roughly 75–100 mm, so debris-heavy sites need a different approach. Amphibious dredges reach shallow, vegetated or access-constrained water where a conventional barge cannot float.

Dredging is a pumped process: it requires enough water depth to float the plant and a viable place to put the material. Sites with less than roughly 1 m of water, or with no dewatering footprint available, need an alternative method. Every dredging project is tailored to minimise environmental impact while achieving effective waterway restoration.

Our advanced equipment, combined with industry expertise, ensures personnel safety and infrastructure protection while delivering efficient, environmentally responsible dredging solutions.

Advanced Dredging Techniques

We partner with you to implement long-term solutions, identifying potential water-related issues such as sediment accumulation before they become major problems.

We utilise advanced equipment, including the unmanned, electric Mud Cat 40E dredger and GeoPro™ Desludging Tubes, to safely and effectively dewater pumped slurry. This enables safer dredging operations in hazardous environments such as tailings dams and wastewater treatment facilities.

In environmentally sensitive areas, such as wetlands and municipal ponds, our compact GeoPro™ Microdredger is an ideal solution, restoring water bodies with minimal disturbance.

For lined ponds and other sensitive water bodies, we use specialised dredging equipment designed to prevent liner damage. Our dredgers can be fitted with wheel attachments on the cutterhead to ensure precise sediment removal while maintaining the integrity of the pond lining.

Safe and efficient access is critical for equipment deployment and project execution. We evaluate site conditions, terrain, and accessibility to ensure seamless operations while minimising disruption to surrounding areas.

Case Studies

WA Farm Dredging Project

Working across a large site and large pond, the recently completed farm project was commissioned to return a working wastewater pond back to its original capacity.

Remote Operated WWTP Dredging
